AACC Announces Largest Ever Clinical Lab Expo
09 Jun 2010: The American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) announces that the 2010 Clinical Lab Expo being held July 27 – 29 as part of its 2010 Annual Meeting at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA is the largest ever with over 1,900 booths and more than 650 companies exhibiting. The Clinical Lab Expo maintains its position as the premier event of its kind in the world.

Members Approve SBS-ALA Merger
11 May 2010: The leaders of the Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) and the Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) have been strategizing a merger to unite their scientific societies as one inclusive organization—the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS). As of Wednesday, May 5, both memberships officially authorized the merger with more than 95% of the votes cast in favor.

SRU Biosystems Introduces Label-free Instrument & Applications for Stem Cells at SBS 2010
 06 Apr 2010: SRU will feature the first-of-its-kind label-free, high resolution reader, the BIND® SCANNER, at booth 710. The BIND® SCANNER is designed for low cell number, high throughput primary and stem cell assays such as cytotoxicity, chemotaxis and differentiation.
